The Good Fight – Entry 64

dropKAGThe Good Fight

I know I’ve not been posting much so I figured it was time for a blog post…

Firstly I would like to thank all of you for the love and support on my two very vague negative comments. Our family is going through a hard time right now. I’m doing ok but am for sure struggling. The meds they have me on are not correct but a blessing in this situation. More on that later. I’m not going to get into details as family matters should be kept private unless those folks want it to be public. So that being said I’m going to respect my grandparents and keep the details private for now. If you want to speak to me about it please private message me. Please continue to pray and send good vibes to my grandmother, she’s in much need right now. Thank You.

Ok, let’s move on to meds. So that’s been insane. First med change didn’t work at all. Very bad. Now I’m on try number two. It’s not the correct medication I can already tell. It’s literally for the most part taking away all of my emotions. I’m kind of like a robot with a malfunctioning emotion chip. At this point I’m still going to give it a couple more weeks. I’ve been going through a lot and who knows it may get better…? Other than that I’ve been feeling fairly “ok”. Still have the bad days, like today but that’s because yesterday was wild and long. Just gotta keep pushing forward.

So let’s talk about yesterday since we’re on the subject. As I might have said in my last blog. I know I made a post about it on Facebook. VAST church in Sisters OR once again has come to my rescue. They gave me the funds needed to get my refrigerator replaced. Enough for the the replacement and installation. So after checking space available and fridges that meet the size requirement, I decided on one and got ordered. It came it luckily one day prior to the day we needed it so everything worked out there.

So yesterday in a nut shell. First a my friend Wes, the pastor and a couple of other lovely folks from Sisters came over. We sat for a long while and chatted. It was nice to have real new people to visit with. It’s rare these days. After chatting it was on to work!

So just before I got sick and lost the house I purchased a brand new Samsung washer and dryer. Mid range but on the fancier end. They’ve been in my storage building since I moved. I need space… So two good things. I donated them to the home owner of the property I live on. He’s taken care of me in a lot of ways. I figured better getting used than taking up space and… I gained some space in storage! So then Brad my other friend showed up and we got the washer and dryer swapped out. It went fairly seamlessly. We said our goodbyes and then the friends from Sisters took their leave. It was wonderful that they came to visit and help swap those out.

So then came the fun. Brand and I disconnected the RV fridge. Got it sliding and then got it slid out. Not without some tiny problems but we got it. Then with the help of my friend Ian and Andy also we got the fridge out of the trailer and into the truck. Then it was off to the dump. We then went and bought supplies to fix what all was broken and needed built out. Some minor things did break needing repair and some other parts needed reinforced. Brad did 98% of the work. He first rebuild and reinforced the platform for the fridge. I then got in the hole and put up some temporary insulation until I can put the permanent solution in place. I need the snow to melt down for that to happen. Brad then finished off trimming out the new fridge. He literally would have stayed there all night but I told him functional is great, doesn’t have to be super pretty. Even with me pushing him he did an amazing job. It looks fantastic in my opinion and is very functional. So that was basically 8am to 9 to 10 ish pm. I still haven’t finished cleaning up. My sheds also in disarray and all my printers need to be set back up. I was going to try to do that today but I don’t know. My body is fairly thrashed. Might not be doing much of anything.

Other then that there’s a vast many things I could talk about but my hands are hurting so I’ll give some quick updates. Heater is still making noise. I’m concerned. Going to oil it more and see if I can get it to quiet down a bit. My RV and storage both need cleaned and arranged so yeah, ugh. I need to set back up the 3d printers. Darts still sick but feeling a little bit better. I’m way behind on 3d printing and painting but doing my best to get caught up. Ok I think that’s all the more important ish stuff.

So for now I’m going to call this one good. As always thank you for joining me on my journey. I very much appreciate all of you. Much love and blessing to you, your friends and family.
