The Good Fight – Entry 46

dropKAGThe Good Fight

Hello my friends! Welcome back! So I figured we’d start out this blog with the good and end with what’s not so great?!? Sound good? Cool! Let’s go…

So first and foremost the 3D printer has been just amazing. It’s kept my mind and body busy. It’s brought attention to my painting and other artwork. It’s given me avenues to create and to possibly make an revenue stream from! I’ve been printing and painting. That’s been going well. In the next two months I’ll be vastly expanding my library of high quality models for print (and paint) available. I’ll have wide variety so there will be a little something for everyone, even the lovers of cuteness. I’m more of a skull and blood guy myself but I dig the occasional cute thing 😉 If you haven’t noticed the opportunities this printer has brought me really raised my spirits. I don’t feel helpless any longer. I feel like I can actually work to earn my life as we all should. People take life for granted as most of us all know and have done at one point or another. I’ll never take life for granted again, that’s for sure! I’ll use every opportunity I have left. My biggest goal right now is to get the next step up from the 3D printer I have which will open up a lot more opportunity!

So the latest episode of the great things the 3D printer has given me is an opportunity to work with a toy company called Spy Monkey Creations on their Battle Tribes line. This is under the Glyos family toy line…

(side note:)
If you are wondering what Glyos are, here’s the quick and dirty explanation… They are a totally modular action figure type toy using a peg an socket system. So imagine all forms and shapes of action figures, creatures, monsters, etc… and then we all know Lego building blocks. If all those amazing, crazy figures had babies with building blocks you would have Glyos. Toys / Action Figures of all types, totally modular to take apart, intermix parts and create you’re own adventures. This is a small (getting bigger fast!) indie toy line with the parent company being Onell Design ran by the infamous Matt Doughty. One of the most wonderful people in the world! Spy Monkey Creations / Battle Tribes is one of many companies that make up the Glyos family. There are several different companies that make a massive variety of figures / characters that are all interchangeable, between the toys from all companies who make Glyos. If you have more questions, curiosity or interest just message me and I can discuss with you further.

To continue… I’ll be working with Battle Tribes to release official heads (remember interchangeable parts) that are ready for production but have not been produced. I’ve also created two of my own heads (3D modeling by HEX3D) to release with the bunch! So that is a very amazing project which I’m blessed to be involved with! I hope this leads to even more exciting things. I might have a heart attack from over excitement before the Parkinson’s get’s me.

On the medical front. It’s a good day. I’ve adjusted my meds again and we’re getting better I think. My pain levels have been out of control but I’m managing best I can there. That’s just something I’m going to have to power through. After the multiple days of yard work my body and mind crashed hard. I’m starting to recover today, feeling better, so that’s fantastic. I have an appointment with my GP here in less than an hour. Other than that just waiting on the appointment with the medication specialist and my next neurology appointment. I really like my new neurologist, she’s awesome so far!

I want to first that Kat D from Destin… you’ve been a huge part of my donations, we’ve had great talks, you’ve done so much for me. You’re an amazing person and I’m right there with you, bless your soul. I’d also like to thank everyone else for the two heaters, the clothing, healthy snacks, the BOOST SHAKES! and everything else! It’s brought me that little bit of security that I needed to feel at least safe for a few months! Thank you for all the stuff sent, monetary donations, Amazon list donations and especially thank you for those that have purchased art pieces from me! It’s all so overwhelming but don’t leave me yet! I’m getting closer but not out of the woods.

Still waiting on the Energy Assistance program… I have to go get propane today and my account is again running very low. I’m even using less propane since Scott got me the new control module, but it’s been cold so I’ve been going through it faster as normal. Disability is in the same boat, just a waiting game. I had to fill out more surveys and maybe go get more testing done. How many times do you have to darn well test me to know that I’m obviously disabled. SO FRUSTRATING!!! but anyway…

I have a busy day. Still waiting on my paint order but have a lot of painting to do. I’m doing my 4th run test of Glyos heads trying to get the prints and supports just perfect! they are coming along nicely. Excited to see this round, think I’m close. Then the GP appointment here soon. This afternoon I’ll probably need a nap and then back to printing and painting after that. So for now… on with my day!

Thank you for joining me on my journey. You’re all very much appreciated! If you have a little to give I do still need donations, thank you. If you want to chat in any way, contact me, I’ll even take phone calls with joy! So for now, be safe my friends and MUCH LOVE!
