As I stated on the main page. This website is dedicated to helping me survive, hopefully thrive as a disabled artist. I was diagnosed with aggressive early onset Parkinson's Disease at 40 years old in the spring of 2019. Eventually I'd like to dedicate my life to being a full time artist and also helping others, but first I need to learn to help myself!
What I mean by that is I'm unable to continue working in my career field due to the Parkinson's disease. It's an unfortunate truth that I've come to accept. The work I once loved, I'm not physically or mentally able to do at the level of which I previously performed. So my goal is to take what skills and abilities I do have and turn those into my new path in life. When life gives you lemons right!?! So my new goals in life are to become more independent again. I want to dive into my passion for design, art, photography and more! I hope to some how make that a possible revenue stream. In the end I do want to dedicate my life to helping others as I stated. I want to teach, inspire and encourage others to be brave in the face of uncertainty. Life can be extra scary and overwhelming when in situations similar to mine. I want to help others understand the challenges of my situation and how I'm working around those to hopefully help them do the same. In general I want to give back as much as possible to all those in need. I learned the hard way there's not a lot of help for people in my situation or similar and that's very unfortunate. Which brings me to my last goal and most important goal, to survive and thrive.
I humbly accept donations. Please click the links on the home page or contact me direct ken@dropkag.com. You can donate direct with PayPal or Venmo. I will be opening the webstore soon with lots of fun new exciting art! Check back often because lots to come!
